Bit Braces

Working with Hands - James E. Price

  Tool Handles - part 2 2 of 2

This type is a commonly found one. The handles are rosewood.

This specimen appears to be Continental in origin and is quite
different than others in my collection.

This photos shows several handles of different types
opened to reveal the tools inside.

Another photo of tool handles opened, revealing the contents.
Note that the top one has a chuck wrench in it.

Not all tool handles are hollow to contain tools. These two do not have
that feature. The bottom one is the only tool handle I have seen
that ratchets right or left.

This photo show other tool handles opened to reveal the tools stored therein.
