Fine Japanese Handsaw for cutting waste kerfs in wedge pockets

Up until now I have used my Two Fingers bowsaw for making the cuts for iron wedge pockets and whilst it does the job.

It's a bit difficult to keep upright and straight at the same time particularly when making smaller planes.

What I wanted was a low profile and fine Japanese toothed saw. Well, I finally found one in Japan on Amazon and it arrived today two weeks after ordering.
Was it worth the wait?

This saw is super fine like a thin junior hacksaw. The difference is that it has super tiny Japanese style teeth which are aggressive but smooth in one.

I will need to test it on an actual plane build but test cuts were very pleasing!

Quick delivery from Japan.

Looks like a marlin...

Very fine teeth...
