The curves of the typically stumpy handle are exquisite!

Would the wedge not have had horns? Many things point to a replacement.

The depth stop and wedge are certainly later additions but really nicely done.

Yet again I wonder at the geometry needed to skew an iron like this.
The wonderful angles all leading to a perfect skew cut.
